Murdered & Missing Indigenous Women, Girls and 2-Spirit
We wantd to host a MMIWG2S Gathering. In 2022, with the COVID Pandemic sitll going on - but dying down - we wanted to host a community event.
We looked to local advocate for MMIWG2S, Roxana Wilson, for her support in creating an agenda fit for such a serious topic.
I was fortunate enough to MC our first event in 2022. However following that, we partnered with the other local Nations in 2023 and 2024.

Kwakwa̱ka̱'wakw Fashion Show with PremiumCultureClub
In early 2024, Aurellia, PremiumCultureClub told me she wanted to host her own Fashion Show.
With the support of industry experts, Aurellia planned a Fashion Show for Kwakwa̱ka̱'wakw fashion designers.
I did a lot of behind the scenes work for her. From preparing some bios, making the pamphlet, ensuring order on the big day, etc.
This was hosted April 12, 2024 at Kwa'lilas Hotel.

Ḵ̓ap̓igoła Ni'nox̱sola (Gathering of Wise People) Project
In April 2023 we were approved for a Community Wellness Grant through Island Health to host Elders Luncheons with our Kwakwa̱ka̱'wakw Elders.
